imageCLASS MF6595 info needed, printer asking for firmware

I picked up a MF6595 printer but cannot find any information on it, ex: cannot find firmware download tool, main power button turns printer on but power button does nothing, screen shows download standby. Am I wasting my time  as this printer is older. Canon no help.  TIA
