imageCLASS MF644Cdw Toner No Longer Fuses to Paper

I have a MF644 cdw with good toner cartridges that are all at least half full.  The print became increasingly lighter for all of the colors until it no longer was readable.  Is this a heating/fusing element issue?  What can I do to repair this?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sounds like it could be the transfer belt or the fuser.  If I recall I think the transfer belt is more expensive than the printer.  If you're out of warranty you may be out of luck.  Have you taken a look inside the printer with the cartridges removed to look at the page-size belt?

Greetings,

In addition, you should perform all cleaning and maintenance operations, and look at the gradation settings.  Are you in an extremely humid environment?

Hello,

If the prints are getting continually lighter, it will usually point to a toner issue. There is a small chance that there is something wrong with the hardware.

We would be happy to assist, but we would need some additional information to assist further. You can reply to this message with the information below and we can provide some troubleshooting steps or suggestions. For a more immediate resolution I would suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist.

1. What model toner cartridges do you have loaded into the printer?

2. If you replace any of the toner cartridges, do you see any changes in the print quality?
