Hello:
I installed Canon software on my new laptop and when I am trying to scan, I am getting 'Cannot communicate with the scanner' error.
The printing works fine. Scanning works fine too on my other two computers, the problem is just with the new one.
I tried removing device, rebooting, reinstalling, etc., - problem still there.
Please help....

I don't have any 3d party antivirus.
Sorry, I don't know how to find the Scan Utility version.

I installed everything using Canon CD, which came with the printer and I am unable to find the version anywhere.

I've got the same problem with my imageCLASS MF273dw, after reinstalling Windows 11 recently. Dell Inspiron 15 3511. I can print but I get the "Cannot communicate with the scanner" error. I installed the driver and scan utility.

my antivirus is turned off. Makes no difference.
