I own one Canon MF244 DW for which i have installed latest drivers for both USB and Network (Wireless) connections.
I am facing two issues:
1. My wired scanner is working fine; but when i try to scan using wireless connection; an error windows pops out saying "Cannot communicate with the scanner". Earlier i have used the same printer/ scanner with same settings numerous times. My printer is working fine using wireless mode.
2. As soon as I connect wire for USB printing/scanning, the printer takes a random command and prints one page with content:
"POST/ ipp/print HTTP/1.1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: application/ipp
User-Agent: Windows Internet Print Provider
Content-Length: 653
Host: localhost"
After this page; it sends 3-4 blank page print commands.
I have already reset all printer/scanner settings; uninstalled old drivers and downloaded, reinstalled latest available drivers.
Please help resolve this issue. I have been using this device since 2017. Have been facing this issue since last 1 month. Could it be associated with some windows update?

I also have a similar issue: imageCLASS MF462dw connected to user PC via USB cable. Drivers from Canon site, firmware updated. Purchased in Oct '24, worked fine until end of Nov '24, now printing out the same error message:
"POST/ ipp/print HTTP/1.1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: application/ipp
User-Agent: Windows Internet Print Provider
Content-Length: 653
Host: localhost"
and 3 - 4 blank pages.
I don't have a solution but looks like this is impacting similar models connected via USB.
