No able to get get new compuiter reconizes I have tried everthing since I bought new window 11 computer. Thius printer worked fine on old windows 11 computer after I plugged in and setup..  I have worked many hours and watche dmany videos and i ama t a loss to get printer tobe reconized and set up and prin on new computer. I have downloaded drivers several times  but keep getting same error message fille LBP6030_v2111_wp-USEN/bootup/steup already exists. overwrite file?     It won't let me oeverwrite file to run Win ZIP.. hate windows 11..please assist.

when I llok for printers in printers and scanners it says printer wasn"t listed not able to enter new device manuallu.. Why is this so difficult?

I am lost. Can Canon do remote support to solve problem

Seems you've got your system into a unstable state.  It might be a result of multiple failed installation attempts.  Search for system restore and see if you can revert the system to a point in time prior to the printer installation.

FYI Canon Support does not do remote support on users computers.

tryed system restore,, did not work , sound like this printer is compitable with windows 11 system.. maybe to  best to buy a cheap printer. This one I have was only $89.. I have changed printer over 30 years and never had this problem before. I have always plugged in whatever the printer was in and it worked . Why in age of AI in 2026 does this happen. I never did anything different as I had done in past exept this system would not recognize he printer.  so I downloaded the drivers and now  I have all these issues. Windows 11 could certainly do better in this advanced age ot tech.. very disappointed.. maybe it is simply  a  poorly dessigned printer with faulty software to under perform as sold.. it is a mystery to me

Good thinking you tried system restore.  👍.

What a tangled up mess.  Other ideas for you to try...  

Open the Task Manager....  Processes dialogue (tab) and look for the Canon printer driver. See if you can right click and kill the task.  

If no joy, look at this.  Select the Windows 10 tab and use the download troubleshooter button. Although this was written for Windows 10, I know it works under Windows 11 too.

If you look at the steps on the Windows 11 tab, you'll see it's basically many of the things that I had already recommended during our back and forth.  

You're certainly resourceful sir. I don't know that I would reset my system, but that would likely correct the problem. Unfortunately though you would have to reinstall all of your apps and programs.  Happy to try and help. We're just here to support one another. 🙂
