I was trying to print business cards with my imageCLASS MF654Cdw. The paper jammed and when I tried to pull it out, the paper tore along the perforations. What is left can only be grabbed with tweezers but is very firmly jammed and I don’t want to pull on it for fear of breaking something. I have read the manual and tried what it suggested for paper jams with no luck. Can a local print shop fix this or am I screwed? For future reference are there any business cards that won’t tear off if the paper jams?

If you are unable to reach the jam or if it is stuck in place, You can try turning the printer off and on 2-3 times and then checking the inside again to see if the jammed paper has advanced. If you are still unable to remove the entire piece jammed paper, I suggest removing the pieces that you can reach and then turning the print off and on one more time.
