Macbook Pro will not let me install printer even though OS is 10.9.5

I get message that drivers cannot be installed on MacBook Pro altho it has OSX 10.9.5 and literature says the drivers need OS X10.5.8

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using.  At this time, we have not released a model named the "D560."  Please double-check the model name and number on your printer and let us know exactly what you've got.
