Hello,
i am using a MFC 8050 on a domain network. the printer is installed via windows 8.1 full package (new one from side).
everything works, except that after a while the printer menu "scan to pc" shows duplicate entries of the same PC Name. Then sometimes the scan does not work. Rebooting the Printer normally works. But that is no solution.
Clients running windows 8.1 professional.
I also got a random message on one client saying something like "the maximum number of connections is reached". so somehow something it makes it connecting 2 times.

Seems like the issue could be fixed with the servicepack patch available at the download page of canon.
Although that fix states a different matter, it seems to have fixed this problem, too.... so far.
