Hello,
I reset our ImageClass MF810Cdn printer to factory. We had a bunch of old security cruft that was no longer needed, so, path of least resistance.
I've been through the setup guide.
What am I missing?

I'm a Windows & Android user, so my knowledge of Apple products is fairly limited. Have the latest version of drivers been downloaded to both the printer & computer 🤔

Hi Dexman335,
Yes. I installed the Mac drivers fresh, and the printer firmware is up to date.

A problem involving an Apple computer and a different Canon printer was opened by another user. In that situation, the OP noted that his unit started acting up as the result of an update to macOS.
Was your computer recently updated? 🤔

Just like Windows, Apple is always releasing updates. So, yes, I count 2 weeks ago as recent. I'll get another in a couple of weeks.
However, every other printer, Canon, Brother, HP, or what have you, prints without issues. Other systems that haven't been updated in a couple of months are also showing the same signs. Basically, that is:
I believe that should cover most, if not all of the standard troubleshooting area to eliminate the printer as a problem. In this case, it pretty much point the finger at the printer.
Is there any additional set up required to get this printer to talk to it's driver? As I said, the installer sees it and validates it for driver installation, and then when we go to print, it claims it can't find the printer that the driver installer just found.
