MF731C "Waiting file name"

This is an ongoing issue, where we can print from our desktops but not from the mobile devices on the network. 

 

 

This is not an issue with just one device, we have 7 android devices that all have the same issue. We tried, google cloud printing, mopria, canon, and androids default print services, all don't work with this printer. 

 

I spoke with someone on the phone a few weeks ago and got nowhere after over an hour. 

 

This is REALLY frustrating. 

 

There is clearly some time of communication going on with the printer, as the printer does show that it is "Waiting File Name: xxxxx"

 

from desktop computers it works.

Hi Kangroop.

 

When you spoke with our telephone support group, was it confirmed if the printer firmware was up to date? Also, are you using the devices for company purposes that may require secure lock down settings?
