MF657Cdw prints with top border of 20mm

We have a new MF650C printer. Printing from Excel sheets or PowerPoint always gives us a 20mm area at the top of the page that is empty. Printing to a different printer (HP MFP M477dfw) does not have this 20mm top non-printable area. The datasheet tells me: 5mm non-printable are at top, left, right bottom.

What setting can be the reason to have this 20mm border from any PC in our company on that device?

Thanks for joining the conversation, Sven007!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the MF650 series.  The model number should appear on the front of the printer at the lower right. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

The printer is a MF657Cdw. I've done some more testing: the issue seems not to be universal for all applications. Excel and PowerPoint cannot print in the 20mm-area on the top of the page, while MS-Word can. So, it might be something with the driver on the computers?

Greetings,

Haven't printed an spreadsheets or pptx on my 656 or 644.  I'll look at this later today and see what I get.  Check your zoom, scaling settings and verify printable area in excel or powerpoint.

**Update.  My margins are set at .7in which is 17.78mm.  After testing everything looks normal here.
