Imageclass Toolbox outlook problem

I have the Imageclass MF4350d which is working fine, except when using the toolbox to scan. If using the mail option, everything scans properly, the email picture is saved, but the email does not come up,
Instead i get the message 'invalid switch for Outlook.'
Canon says it's a Windows 10 problem which it may well be, since it was not a problem until the anniversary update.
I have the latest October drivers installed.
If I use Microsoft Outlook as the option in setting windows, it doesn't recognize. If I use the Outlook choice, the switch message appears
Does anyone know how to fix an invalid switch and what it is? I have gone through the Microsoft sites and looked at the folders with Microfsoft Outlook without success.
