Imageclass MF465DW "error cannot communicate with scanner"

when Trying to scan using wireless network it gives me an error cannot communicate with scanner . The cable maybe disconnected does this model not scan thru the wireless network ?. when I try to access the printer ip address i get 

this message 

Cannot access Remote UI.
Configure a [Remote UI Access PIN], or a [System Manager ID] and [System Manager PIN] on the device.

where do I set the UI Access PIN I can't find it anywhere in the menus

You can scan via USB or over a network with the MF456dw. You would not need the access pin to scan via wifi but you can set it using the steps in the link HERE. We would be happy to assist, but we would need some additional information to assist further.
