when Trying to scan using wireless network it gives me an error cannot communicate with scanner . The cable maybe disconnected does this model not scan thru the wireless network ?. when I try to access the printer ip address i get
this message
Cannot access Remote UI.
Configure a [Remote UI Access PIN], or a [System Manager ID] and [System Manager PIN] on the device.
where do I set the UI Access PIN I can't find it anywhere in the menus

Hello,
You can scan via USB or over a network with the MF456dw. You would not need the access pin to scan via wifi but you can set it using the steps in the link HERE.
