Hello,
I have a ImageCLASS MF733cdw printer which has been working well for several years. I have also used the AirPrint capability to print stuff from my iPhone directly from the phone. However, this was when my PC was running Windows 10.
I had to upgrade to Windows 11 a few months back. Since then, the AirPrint feature seems to have stopped working. I am not able to print from my phone as the printer is not visible to the iPhone.
I would really appreciate any help in installing/updating printer software to get the AirPrint functionality back.
Thanks in advance for all help.

Airprint is an apple function, it does not work with Windows 11. It should work from an Iphone, but not an Android phone. The Canon print Ap will work from an Android phone. You did not say if you can print from Windows 11 with an ap or program. Your printer is a retired model but there is Windows 11 software and drivers available for it here:

Thank you for your reply. Yes, AirPrint is an Apple function, but there is nothing to install on the iPhone or iPad.
Apparently, the discovery of the printer is somehow affected by the printer's host PC's operating system, in this case, Windows 11. As I said, it used to work prior to upgrade to Windows 11. There is something in the drivers for Windows 11.
The printer itself is running the latest software/firmware.

Greetings,
"Apparently, the discovery of the printer is somehow affected by the printer's host PC's operating system, in this case, Windows 11."
This is not correct.
The printer's Airprint support has nothing to do with Windows. There is no relationship or dependency. These two communication protocols are completely independent of one another.
Can you confirm how you are connecting? Are you using a Wi-Fi network with with both devices connecting to the same network, or are you using the printers wireless direct feature? Bonjour and mDNS are not known for their reliability. I'll have some suggestions based on your response.

Thanks again for your response. The printer is connected to the home WiFi network. All devices are connected to the same wireless network. To the best of my knowledge, I am not using the printer's wireless direct feature.
I have not installed Bonjour and have not had to deal with mDNS so far.

Greetings,
AirPrint relies on Bonjour and mDNS for device discovery. 😉
If you haven't restarted your iPhone recently, I suggest you do that.
To use AirPrint, your mobile device and printer must be connected to the same network. You can open a document or picture that you want to print. Select print and AirPrint will allow you to use any AirPrint compatible printer that's on the same network. The features available and controls will be basic and limited.
The Canon print app is more full featured. It's available for iOS and Android.
Here's a link if you want to use it.

Greetings and thanks again for your attempts to help me. Much appreciated.
To repeat:
1. The printer, PC and the iPhone ARE all on the same network.
2. Airprint may use Bonjour and mDNS internally. I have not done anything to change that.
3. I have powered down my iPhone several times and tried to print. It did not work.
4. The problem is that the Canon does not appear as an Airprint printer on the iPhone. So it can NOT be selected for printing.
It is not clear to me from your replies what you think is the possible issue.
