imageCLASS MF644Cdw - Toner always comes out pale.

I changed the toner in my printer, but the toner always comes out pale. I have several toner cartridges, but the toner always comes out pale. Previously, when I changed the old cartridges, the toner came out paler; it only came out paler after the change. Now it's paler, but I don't know what the problem could be.

Greetings,

I have one of these at home 🙂

Are you using Canon brand toners?

Does the dull, pale color appear when you're using the Canon print app,  printing from a specific application or does it happen no matter what you print or application you print from?

Have you performed any maintenance steps, color calibration etc?

Hi, how are you? Yes, I've tried going to the maintenance menu, image adjustment, and there's a calibration function there, but it's not working. I always try a different toner cartridge, but what happens if I don't use the same brand of toner? Will there be a problem in the future that could cause damage?

Greetings,

Damage to the printer is unlikely, but you could experience print quality issues.  Dull or inaccurate colors, etc. are examples.

Some maintenance options might not function if you are using 3rd party toners.

Hi, I was just looking at the fuser unit, but I noticed one part looks wrinkled. I'm not sure if that's normal. The other one seems fine, but this one looks wrinkled. Help! normal. WhatsApp Image 2025-11-17 at 09.00.27.jpegWhatsApp Image 2025-11-17 at 09.00.34.jpeg
