Easy setup but now nothing prints/scans anymore from imageCLASS MF644Cdw. Factory reset option?

I have tried every youtube video, I've read the manual forwards and backward, my bf who is a hardware engineer at Apple tried to help but apparently he doesn't deal with printers much these days....I've even been on the phone twice with customer service and they were so confused, that the lady told me to call Amazon and ask how to fix the situation?  And then she would call me back in an hour.

?!?!?!

Is there a way I can just do a hard reset, delete all the software, and try from scratch?  Thank you so much for anyone who has any suggestions!!

Also - I am using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) 

2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

macOS Catalina v10.15.4

Have a few questions:

New printer? (yes / no)?

Title says "Nothing Prints / Scans anymore"

So it worked at one time (yes / no)?

What changed? >

How is the printer connected?  USB, Ethernet or Wireless?

Remove from MAC:

Delete the entries for printer, scanner, fax (if applicable) from Apple menu > System Preference > Printers and Scanners

Delete all Canon related printer, driver, software, etc and restart.

Download fresh copies of the installers above and "start over" following the instruction for installation and connection.
