Color imageCLASS MF654Cdw toner shade issue

Hi,

I purchased a Color ImageCLASS MF654cdw, from Best Buy and it was great until the printer started printing with blurry lines and also started jamming constantly.

I double checked with my manufacturer and with canon about my vinyl being comparable and it was, and I also went through hours of testing things with Best Buy help. Eventually I had to return the printer to Best Buy.

A week ago when I returned the faulty printer, I purchased another printer from Best Buy of the exact same make and model, the cannon imageCLASS.   The issue I have now, is that there is a consistent area that the toner is a different shade. And I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to return it to Best Buy, because then I’ll lose my $50 return/refund guarantee. But I also have a business and need my vinyl labels to be consistent and look great.   I’ll attach photos about the issue. The area around the top scent name (I.e. peppermint tea tree) in the label, seems to be lighter in shade than the other scent name below.

Is this an issue with my printer? Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks so much!

I'd like to offer a solution if possible.  Everything sounds reasonable except one thing.  Nowhere do I see anything that says vinyl labels are supported.  Paper yes, vinyl no.
