Let's keep this simpler. If the paper is getting a physical crease/wrinkle, there's something about the infeed or inside that is wrinkling it. Or the paper you're using is too thin/flimsy.
If the printer was advertised as fully functional, return it. If it is defective, and was sold as fully functional. eBay will expedite a return, regardless of what the seller's return policy was.
