this is a revisit to another (looks like) exact same issue. Does anyone now have any better insight. The previous was https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Office-Printers/Canon-MF726CDW-paper-jam/m-p/320159/thread-id/120.... There was no resolution.
That was not me. I have the same issue. The 726 will feed from either the multipurpose or bottom tray and in most cases stop the paper just after it gets through the bottom rollers at the rear. When I pull out the bottom tray, I see 10 inches of the 11-inch page. I can print a fuser cleaning page.....my guess is that because of the speed that the cleaning page (slow) the paper position sensors are ignored. I checked the sensor at the rear of the paper tray. It is clean. I changed paper. I know that this is all a reach but, if anyone has insight into this, the printer only has 20k prints and should still have some life. I would like to replace the sensors but don't see any -Google search "Canon MF726CDW sensor" anywhere for sale.
Thanks, Mike
