Paper Won't Load from Rear Tray TS9521c

I am not able to get the printer to print from the rear tray.  I have checked all the settings on both the printer and my mac and everything matches.  The printer tries to load the paper as the paper moves up and down but it ulimately won't load and I get an error.  I'm trying to print on 4x6 glossy paper and I'm using Canon paper.  Please help.  I noticed others in the community have had similar issues but I've not seen confirmation of resolution.

What is the error that you get?

Does an error also appear on your printer's display?  If so, what is the Support Code that appears?
