PIXMA iP110 white and orange light alternating 2 flashes

When I turn on my IP 110 compact printer I get the white light flashing then orange light flashing twice each then the white light on for @ 2 seconds then it repeats.

I have tried reseting the printer but still get the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated

Please try the steps HERE to resolve the issue. If the issue persists, the printer would require service.

sorry for the delay in responding. This didn't work. after turning on the print head was all the way to the left and wouldn't come to the center so I couldn't check the print head or ink cartridges. 

I'm not sure but as I think about what I did to cause this I could have pushed the power button to stop a print job
