Just got a Canon Ivy 2 Mini Printer for my birthday. Apparently it should only run the blue sheet through every new load of papers, not everytime you put the lid on. So I guess it's a malfunction? I tried not using the blue sheet (dumb idea obviously) and it just messed up my picture and wasted papers I already can't afford. What do I do? Honestly. Just return it? I really don't wanna go through all this trouble, if it is normal please tell me, if it isn't, please tell me as well! It was very annoying continuously putting it back in and then putting the lid on and it running the blue paper through again, so I waited till I put "print my photo" on the app, then I put the lid on. I think it might be normal, but I am not 100% sure. If it is I am most likely having it returned because that's so much trouble to go through, (better luck printing photos at Walmart am I right) 😂. Anyway, please do let me know!

Replying just to say, photos started printing out blue. So it's obviously the printer and the quality of it.. Being returned. I recommend not buying this item since there seems to be so many issues with it and everyone's experiencing it when purchasing this. Super sucky and bull**bleep**, but it is what it is. 🤷♀️

Printing with the correct colors requires calibration ( blue sheet) and depending on your mobile device and existing settings, may require other adjustment before printing.
Have you reviewed the products manual?

Make sure you have your blue calibration sheet and photo papers loaded on top with the correct orientation and logos pointing down. You also need to use the Canon mini print app.

Lol I most obviously loaded the papers right, and I read through the manual, nothing about the blue sheet continuously running through, (it is most definitely not me and my phone, but thank you.) 😂 I'm just highly disappointed that the product couldn't even work properly coming fresh out of the box, that's an issue with the company, not me or my other devices.

Also Id like to note that out of the pack of 10, I got 4 photos that actually went through and worked. That's 6 that malfunctioned and went to **bleep**, that's 6 that I cannot afford. It is not me, it is the product.

Sorry it's not working for you. Unfortunately I have no hands on experience with that product.
