ip 4900 cant use cassette feed for small pages

i am trying to print avery labels  and get error message to use top feed only.

 but when i use top feed i do not get consistant prints

Hello bubbatech.

Unfortunately, only letter or A4 sized paper can be used in the cassette tray.  For specialty paper sizes, the rear tray would have to be used.

Please describe any inconsistencies that have occurred when you print with the rear tray so we can try and assist you.
