i have windows 7 and have the pixma mg8220. I've had no problems scanning in the past but have not tried in a couple of months. How i can't.
i've tried multiple suggestions on the subject and have not resolved the issue. i have in the c drive\windows\twain 32 - two folders 1-mg8200 series 2-mg8200 series 88717D54EEB. Does anyone know if this is the issue?
Any help is very much appreciated.

I've been having this problem for weeks and finally found a solution in another thread:
Canon Navigator started working as soon as I deleted this file: C:\Users\<user name>\App Data\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts\My Web Sites on MSN. I can't explain why this file would interfere with the scanner software but regardless, I'm just relieved it is back working now.

Thank you "IAHAWK" for this very valuable information. I did as you instructed and it worked for me. I am able to use my CanoScan LiDE 700F once again.
