Where is the posting section

I am new (March 22, 2020) to the CanonCommunity and I can not find how to post a question to the page.
The only reason I can post this is throught the REPLY button on this issue.
Have read the thread, but as others, I can not see a NEW MESSAGE button anywehere, only the little red envelope on the right.
Please help becaus I have a very simple question and can not post it.

Posting is NOT easy.
I am new to the community and can not find where to post a question.

Am using a mac, am logged into the community (obviously since I am able to reply to your comment) and I am not able to see the posting section of your page.
Can you please be more specific? Or can anyone else help?

Go to the appropriate thread title page (General Discussion, Powershot, Software, etc.) and at the top left hand side of the page look for the red button that says NEW MESSAGE and give it a click. Enter a subject title that briefly describes your problem and then type in your specific question(s) in the box below and click the red POST button.

Just click HERE and you'll be taken to the "Post Message" screen for a new thread.  Hope this helps!
