Realis WX6000 stuck in lamp error mode

I'm looking for any guidance at all on a WX6000 projector stuck in lamp error mode. After replacing the lamp, I continue to get the same behavior from the otherwise pristine projector. That behavior is... sitting there and staring at me without completing turning on and with 3 lights (lamp, warning & standby) solidly lit. Following the troubleshooting in the manual and online... It says there might be a malfunction in the lamp drive circuit and that I should contact Canon Customer Support (who no longer supports the product). I'm ready to dig in "blind" and look for burnt components/leads on boards and any internal fuses but was hoping to find any additional pertinent information first. Please & thanks.

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon REALiS WX6000 D Pro AV has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the product or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern projector. You can reach out to our sales team, they're available weekdays at 800-385-2155.

Thank You. I was referred here by a phone support representative who told me the same thing but that I might find some info here. So, I came here hoping to hear something other than "it's garbage, throw it away". The unit seems to be built very well and doesn't seem to have other problems but, if it's garbage, it's garbage. Bulb replacements in other brands are trivial not fatal but, again, Thank You.
