Potential scam email?

Hi I recently got a email from a email going by canonstudioeos@gmail.com  talking about an influencer campaign their launching and sending free pr packages was wondering if anyone knew about it and could tell me if it's a scam.

Hi. This email is a not Canon USA. We're aware of these scam emails. Please be sure to report this as a phishing attempt/spam to your email provider to help get that email address blocked. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I'm skeptical about a company as large as Canon using a gmail address. Delete it and run the other way.

We do have a Gmail address we use as a backup/last resort. That's not it.

Our normal emails come from @cusa.canon.com (corporate) or @cits.canon.com (support)

Interesting. Thanks. I stand corrected. My wife does it all the time.
