So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know what Computer Operating System you're using. (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x)

Looks like you are using a .ws driver, which is kind of a generic Windows driver. Have you installed the Canon drivers from the CD that came with it or downloaded the drivers off the website? Also, if you have successfully installed the drivers, you should have a program called IJ Scan Utility on your computer. That's what you will want to use to scan.
