My wife went to a baby shower today at a local state park. I took my camera bag and took a bunch of photos. I used my 18-135mm as it has proved to be a great "all around" lens for my T7. However...I found it lacking in some photos that screamed for the 18-55mm lens. Several years ago, my wife found a generic vest at Bass Pro Shops that fit the ticket for extra lens or two, batteries and filters. Next time, I'll plan more carefully. Live and learn? My grandfather said you are never too young to learn. I'm 77!

Mike, we now start counting backwards.
Bumper sticker: 40 is not old if you are a tree!

Why would your camera scream for the 18-55, when that range is within the 18-135 range? What was lacking with the 18-135?
I'm 75. So what?

Needed to get a wider view of the spring in the park; Red Clay SP which is the last meeting place of the Cherokee before the Trail of Tears. Very limited in where I could stand to get the full photo of the spring.
Edit- It's a 28-135mm.

18-55 is no wider than 18-135. But wait! Your equipment list says you have a 28-135. So, which is it?
