Can someone recommend an inexpensive photo printer with great quality print for craft projects, photo and image transfer?

You should consider the cost of ink cartridges in your definition of "inexpensive photo printer". Also, I don't know how much experience you have with inkjet color printers, but the cartridges can be notorious for drying out, or permanently clogging the print head, which wastes your money.

I have learned that not all inks and cartridges are created equally. Some printers have higher capacity cartridges than others, which decreases the cost per print. Some inks do not quickly dry out, while others do not suffer from that fate, which extends the life of the print head.

The Pixma Pro-100/10/1 all use the superior type of ink.
