Customer support issue. TS3522 printer cartridges.

Tried to start a chat session on the “my canon” web site regarding my ink cartridge subscription plan for my TS3522 printer. Waited over 15 minutes and no one responded. Called Canon and talked to 3 different people before I got to the correct person.

Hello.

This is the week after a major holiday. Support will be a bit busier than usual, and our chat agents are not authorized to modify your Account -- to protect your privacy. Changes to your account must be via your Canon Account. This link will take you to log in to your account, and then drop you to the page to see and modify your subscriptions: https://canon.us/subscriptions

Most of us here are not employed by Canon.  Sorry to hear about chat - I've never tried that, but know that it's frustrating to wait and to be passed around.

A quick search shows similar support frustration with low-cost printer companies, and that response times could depend a bit upon how busy the support team is at any given time.

I'm glad you were able to find someone to help you even if you got passed around a bit.  Getting any live support on a sub $100 printer model that is approximately 5 years old (not saying yours is this old, just the model) speaks well for Canon.   I think most printers in that category are throwaways after just a year or two.  The original HP LaserJets would last about 20 years, but they literally don't make them like they used to.  That was a different technology than modern inkjets.
