Canon PGI-9 inks packaging problem ? Cellophane has rips in it, would this cause ink to be dried ?

I just received a value pack of PGI-9 inks from my supplier (Amazon) and I notice that 8 of the 10 ink packs have small cuts in the outside cellophane. It's strange because the value pack box itself doesn't seem to have any damage to it. I haven't opened any of the packs yet.  The cartridges look ok and the orange tabs all look to be properly attached but I'm concerned that the cuts in the cellophane might cause the ink to dry out, especially since I don't know how long this value pack has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere.  Would the inks be ok as long as the orange tabs are still connected ?

Hello.

If the orange tabs are still secured the tanks should function properly.
