Can I use a CanoScan 9000F that I bought when living in the US in Europe? Serial # ABUW13768

The power brick imbedded in the bottom of the scanner in various places lists input as 100V 50/60Hz  0.7A in one place and in another as 100 - 240V 50/60Hz. 0.7A Outputs in each case are 32V 0.65A. Embosed on the bottom of the body of the scanner it says 100 - 240V 0.7A. So can I just use a plug adapter (in other words is it a dual voltage device) or do I need a step down transformer?

Hi dbalint,

You may need a plug adapter to connect the U.S. type plug to an overseas socket; however, if the voltage in Europe falls within the 100 - 240V, 50/60Hz range specified on the power adapter, the scanner should be able to be used in Europe.

Hope this helps!
