Thinking about buying a first camera

Hello, as the title says, I'm looking to buy a camera for personal use.I have some knowledge of photography since I worked in the field some time ago, however, due to personal reasons I changed careers.I'm looking to buy a camera for my own use, to take travel photos, maybe some photoshoots for friends or family, but I don't have anything else planned.I have a budget of 500/600 USD (10000 MXN).Any recommendations?

The R100 and R50 are the only mirrorless cameras in your price range, though believe the R50 to be vastly superior to the R100, and I always suggest the newest technology that you can afford.

I would agree with Tom, I had the R50 and traded it for the R7..... Should have kept the R50

Any current digital camera can do that and do it very well so the choice is open to you. The R100 Mirrorless Camera with 18-45mm Lens will work fine and is around $550 I believe.
