I had a PIXMA MG 7520 for years and loved it. I loved the dual trays in the front that opened automatically. I loved the quality of the printer and the quality of the photos. unfortunately it stopped copying and printing, so I purchased the TR 8620a because it looked like it was comparable. It is not, it is far inferior. with front and rear trays, It takes up so much more room. You have to open the panel before you print, the quality is not as good and the overall quality of the product is far inferior. Does anybody have any suggestions? I wanted to stay with the brand because I had such a good experience last time. forgive the speech to text errors.

The TR 8620a is basic printer but if you love the PIXMA MG 7520 look for a good used one. Shouldn't be too hard to find one in good shape.

Hello,
Yeah, the PIXMA MG7520 was kind of a sweet spot and Canon never really replaced it properly, while the PIXMA TR8620a is more of an office-style all-in-one, which is why it feels like a downgrade in photo quality and design.
