Thank you for visiting.  Your best source of this sort of information is the manual and online printer resources at https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ts6420a?srsltid=AfmBOopy6D5Q6xFeY0TDobBQF_EWeRjn9eDVXZaDyf...  and the knowledge base at https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/

The T6400 series of manuals is at https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/W/TS6400%20series/EN/CNT/Top.html

According to the manual the printer supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz.  5GHz is faster and 2.5 GHz tends to have less interference and reliability issues.  I use a WIFI 6 mesh network and 5GHz and have few issues.   Dual band is fine and tri-band is as well. See https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Tutorial/TS6400%20series/EN/TRL/trl-a0002.html for more networking detail from the manual.
