Landscape lens recommendations for EOS 90D and R50

Hello, I’m new to photography and would like recommendations on the best lens for shooting landscape. I have a EOS 90D and a EOS R50.

When I use the EOS 90D I’m shooting with the EFS 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 STM  and with the EOS R50 I’m using the RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM. I’m shooting in manual mode.

There really is no best lens for landscapes since it depends on what you are shooting. Landscape and portrait are names folks give certain focal length lenses but really have no exact relevance. You need to use what works and that becomes a good landscape lens. For instance a 600mm or 800mm super telephoto is a great "landscape" lens if the landscape is the Moon. A so-called 28mm landscape lens would be terrible. On the other hand if the landscape is the Grand Canyon a 28mm lens would be the trick.

One must ask how far away from the subject landscape you can get. Most cases on planet Earth something in the 10mm to 28mm will do an admirable job using a 90D and/or a R50. Most would say the RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM is a poor choice for landscapes depending again on the situation as in certain situations it could also do very well.

I shot this "landscape" with a 70mm lens on a 1DX camera. It was done in the vertical position and is seven shots stitched together in Photoshop. Landscapes are a use what works and not what name folks tend to call a lens.

However generally speaking something in the 10mm to 28mm for your cameras is probably going to work.
