Can I set my name in a 6D?

I can't find how to write my name as the owner of my 6D?. I would be extremely surprised and disappointed if this is not possible. Please help

Hi uaioming,

You can set and apply the camera owner's name to the camera with EOS Utility.  Please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the camera is connected to your computer and powered on.
  2. Launch EOS Utility
  3. Click on [Camera Setting/Remote Shooting].
  4. Click on the [Tools/Preferences] icon.
  5. Click on [Owner's Name].
  6. Type in the name.
  7. Click on [Ok].
  8. Exit EOS Utility.

If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.

It won't show in all dial modes.  I use P. The press menu and go to wrench 4.  Scroll down to copyright, and press the set key.
