setting up wifi

Hello everyone, my Rebel T7 and I are new to the community.  Here is the problem I am in need of an answer for.

When I enabled the wifi the first time I didn't enter a nickname for the camera.  Now it won't let me enter it.  Is there a workaround to get this done?  According to the manual the camera has to have the nickname to set the wireless functions.

Thanks for your help.

Try resetting all camera settings .

See page 194 of your instruction manual and poage 115 of the wireless instruction manual.

You can download them here if you don't have then:

Thanks for the help, John.  I was thinking this would require a reset to default but not sure how to do  it.  Now I can get the camera set up on my wifi.  The links you sent are a lifesaver.
