While I was taking photos, the display stopped working suddenly. The camera was trying to focus and making beeping sounds. The viewfinder was working but none of the buttons (Menu, Disp, etc.) would work. It would still take photos and flash, but wouldn't let me see anything. The only way to get the display to work was putting it on the video mode, but it wouldn't record anything. I read many forums and watched several videos and tried everything they suggested. I tried replacing the battery with one straight off the charger, reformatted the SD card, tried a brand new SD card, used compressed air to clean the battery terminals, pressed every button under every setting. I finally got it to work by removing the battery, SD card, and the lens and let it sit for about 10 minutes and put everything back together.
