"cannot playback image"

Just got a new T5i, after taking a few pictures I tried to view them on the camera.  Every few pictures I get one that is small on the screen and an error message "cannot playback image".  What is that all about?

Sounds like a bad card. Did you low-level format the card in the camera?

Well, I finally realized I had not formatted the card with the camera, have done that, snapped a few shots and so far so good!

I sure hope the problem is solved that easy.

Just to be safe, replace the SD card.  Formating the card may just have been a false fix.  If the SD card worked with some images but no all, is probably not a format issue.  Don't take the chance because it will show its ugly head when you least want it to.
