"Q" button not responding

The quick menu button on my t4i has suddenly become erratic. Sometimes it works, other times it won't. Any ideas ?

Welcome to the Canon Forum.

In all modes, the [Q] button should perform some function related to the Quick Control Screen.  If you press the button and it does not activate the Quick Control Screen each time, then the camera is going to need to be repaired.  To start the repair process, you'll need to complete a Repair Request on our website.
