my camera t3 won't work even after I charge the batteries. any ideas?

If by "wont work" you mean it wont power up... there is a micro-switch to detect if the battery door is completely closed (a tab on the battery door engages the switch). There's also one on the memory card door. If they are not engaged, the camera will not power up.

thank you for taking the time to answer. I cannot find a tab but by all accounts the battery and door seem to be closed and in tight. I have had this camera for a few years and have never had this problem before. I guess I'll take it to a local camera shop. Thanks again.
