my 7d is not reading all my cards

My 7d does not recognize all of my compact flash cards not the CF adapter for SD. Any suggestions

At least bent pins can be repaired. Last month I fixed a 10D with badly bent pins. If I can do it, anybody in this forum probably can. (Actually, it's easy if you have three hands. I don't, so it wasn't.)
