I don't have a Rebel series body but you can do it with all the bodies I have owned. You need to install the software from the disk that came with your camera plus connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable that was also in the box the camera came in. Once the software is installed I recommend re starting the computer & then once it's up & running connect your camera. That should trigger one of the Canon programs to start (could be Zoombrowser, EOS Utility or Camera Window to name a few). The program should offer the option to Download Images or Camera Control.
