camera lens release button broken

hi, i own a canon t3i, the lens release button got stuck, so i tried to fix it, as i was messing with it, the button simply fell off, i have the spring, and the button, however it won't go back on. i managed to get the kit lens off, but the pin still wont work. any advice/help would be amazing

As you have already learned, it is best left to Canon service.  In the end it will likely be less costly and way less frustrating.
