Will this mic work on my Canon EOS Rebel T5?

I know that the Rebel T5 doesn't have a mic jack, but I found this mic that assures it will fit. Can anyone let me know for sure if it will fit?

Negative.  The Rebel T5 lacks an external microphone input.
