When using the 7D Mii in AI Servo mode how do I know when the camera has achieved focus

What indication is there to confirm that the 7D Mii has achieved focus  when in AI Servo mode with point expansion or single Focus point selection?

I believe all Canon camera operate like my 1D Mark IV. There is no in-focus confirmation because focus is constantly changing to track subject.

When you initially try to lock on a subject if the green focus dot is blinking rapidly you haven't locked on. If the green dot is not illuminated you are locked.
