Hi All,
It seem that every time I swap out batteries in my 5D Mark III, I am always having to reset the date, time etc....!!!!
Yes, besides being a little annoying.... what if I am in the middle of a photo shoot where I cannot just stop and reprogram back to the correct date.
Question
Is there a way to save the date info in my camera so that when I swap out batteries I am not having to always reset the date, and time and time zone?
Yes, the camera is off when I do this.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Well done Peter.

It is most likely the 'keep alive' or 'clock battery' but on a 5D Mk III, it seems a little soon?

Thanks to all who contributed. I will change the battery and see what happens.
Thanks again,
Bob

It just seem like its too soon for it to fail. I have had them last 10 years. But I guess anything can fail. Worht a try and very easy to do. Hope that is it.
