Technique, lighting, and post processing will have far more impact on the final result than putting a higher-end camera in the hands of a novice videographer. Any of the Canon dSLR will work fine, I'd recommend a Rebel if you're going to be buying a camera specifically for this project. If you're just renting, get a 5d3 or 7D.
